Whether you are registering as a Youth Member, Adult Helper, or volunteer Leader - Scouting will bring fun, adventure, new skills, and a world full of opportunity to Youth and Adults alike!

The cost of participating in Scouts comprises of:

• An annual State Membership fee that includes essential insurance for members, Leader training, a wide range of resources, and essential support services including finance, IT, property and facilities, child safety team, marketing and communication
• A Joining Fee This is a once off charge only and is applied to the annual State Membership Fee, and may apply to the Local Group Fee.
• A local Group fee covers the week-to-week expenses of running Scouts – resources, maintenance and utilities of the Scout Hall, and regular meeting activities
  (The Local Group Fee is not currently in use with our Group)
• One-off costs – there are endless opportunities for additional participation in Scouts and there may be associated fees like camping charges, travel, event fees etc
  Because our Group does not charge a Local Group Fee, there may occasionally be additional charges to participate in some activities.

The State fee is payable periods called Treks. The length of these Treks are set by State Office and can vary from 2 to 4 terms, and may encompass time in to a new year.

Our Group no longer charges a Local Group contribution fee. Instead we rely on the support of our members and families to assist at fund raising events. These funds then go on to support the ongoing costs of the Group.

Payment Plans are easy to set up for each of our members
If a payment plan option is not presented to you at Registration;
Go to scoutsnsw.au/paymentplan
Fill out the form and select "For both State fees and Group Fees"
Allow 48 hours to get a discount code sent to you. Once you have this code you can go ahead with your registration

We are pleased to be able to offer a complimentary 6 week trial period for all Youth members who are trying out Scouting for the first time. Note that this starts counting at time of registation, so make sure you have made contact with your Group before taking this step.

Operoo (Note that Operoo will no longer be in use after 2025, and our group will be moving to an alternate service starting early 2026)
